BIBC (Bournemouth Indoor Bowls Centre) Directions

BY CAR :

From North and East (M3/M27):

Exit M3 at Southampton Docks, Bournemouth, M27 West. Follow signs for `M27 West' onto the M27 (which becomes the A31). After 20.6 miles, exit A31 (to Bournemouth A338, Christchurch B3073). At the (Ashley Heath) roundabout, turn left (Bournemouth A338, Christchurch B3073) onto the A338.

After 7.7 miles, exit A338 (Boscombe A3049, and then King's Park, Littledown). At roundabout go straight on into King's Park Drive. Turn right at the entrance to the Football Stadium (which will be on your left). BIBC is about 700 metres on your right hand side; a large building with a cream pitched roof.

From West A31 (from roundabout junction with A347):

At roundabout turn left (Ringwood A31), remaining on the A31. Go straight on, following signs for Ringwood, over three roundabouts for 2.8 miles, then exit A31 (Bournemouth A338, Bearwood B3081). At (Ashley Heath) roundabout turn right (Bournemouth A338, Christchurch B3073) onto the A338.

By Rail:

From Bournemouth Central:

It is about 1.5 miles from the BIBC. Go to the main road and turn left and walk straight along the main road until you come to a mini roundabout at the junction with Kings Park Drive, turn right here. Turn right at the entrance to the Football Stadium (which will be on your left). BIBC is about 700 metres on your right hand side; a large building with a cream pitched roof.

There is a bus stop outside the train station, by the Texaco garage. Catch a yellow bus either the nos. 68, 33 or 25, and ask for BIBC Kings Park (most buses stop in Ashley Road).

From Pokesdown:

It is about 15 minutes walk from BIBC, though not all trains stop here. Turn right out of station. Take the fifth turn on the right into Gloucester Road. At end of road the BIBC is on your left, just inside the park.
